S/W/M (Single/White (well Tan)/Male) looking for my soul mate, is that you?
Hi my name is Tucker. I'm a 3 year old Chihuahua mix weighing in at 8lbs. I'm currently living in Post Falls with 4 roomies, 3 fur friends and 1 house mom. I'm looking to find a place of my own with someone to love.
Let me tell you a bit more about myself. I've been told that I am a little clingy, I really just like to be able to see you. I would love to just sit in your lap all day while you scratch my back and love on me. I really just want to be close to you all the time. I would love to find someone that is home a lot or that is willing to take me with them when they leave because I don't like to be alone. I also don't like to be locked up in a crate but I've been told that if you do have to leave me for any period of time, its best to put me in a crate. I've been diagnosed with separation anxiety so I have been known to scratch at the carpet an make a small hole by the door.
I love kids! I don't have any of my own, that I know of, but I don't mind if you do. I also don't mind if it just you and me. As for others in the home, I do well with all humans as long as they are willing and able to love on me. I like dogs but I hear that I can get a bit bossy and growl if they are in my space. My house mom calls it little dog syndrome. I don't try and hurt them I just want them to know that they are in my bubble. Once I get to know them all is good though. As for cats, I've never met one so I'm not sure what to think of them yet.
My current house has a doggie door and I can come and go as I please and that is really nice. Sometimes I just can't help myself and I mark in the house where other dogs have already marked but if you tell me to stop it I will usually listen. I really just want to make you happy.
I enjoy walks, it doesn't matter if they are at sunset on the beach, sunrise in the mountains, a stroll down the city streets or just a jaunt at the local dog park. As long as I'm with you we will be A-O-K! I do great on a leash, I don't pull or run ahead. I will remain by your side the entire time and if the going gets tough I will just request you pick me up and carry me.
So if you think we are a good match contact Power of the Paw, they will be screening all of my options and pick out the best match.
I hope to see you soon!
