Tucker is a eight-year-old male Shih Tzu who weighs 12 pounds. He was surrendered into rescue because his human dad was allergic to him. He is a relaxed little guy who loves to soak up the sun by the window or lounge at your feet. He enjoys walks and playing “fetch” and likes to give “high fives”! Tucker is super friendly and everyone who meets him is taken in by his great personality. We guarantee you will fall for this sweetie within 5 minutes of meeting him.
Tucker has lost vision in one eye due to dry eye disease and is receiving medical attention to prevent further loss of vision in his other eye. He will need to be on medicated eye drops for the rest of his life. However, Tucker hasn’t let his limited vision slow him down. He has quickly figured out the layout of his foster home and is getting around well. Tucker is housetrained and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home. He gets alone fine with the other dog and the cat in his foster home.
