So, Tully here... I guess I'm supposed to find a home...a permanent home. I've been living with a foster family for over a year now, and they've tried their best to make me a sweet, friendly cat...and I've decided that's just not my thing. I want attention, but I just don't really care to be a clingy, needy cat. If you're looking for a lap cat, I'm not the cat for you. My foster mom calls me an "ornament" cat because I can often be found sitting, watching the world go by. Even though I'm not a snuggly cat, I am quiet and won't bug you for food or for attention. Sometimes, I "chirp" when I see you and want to be near you, but my all-time favorite thing is getting brushed. I LOVE IT! If you have my favorite brush in your hand, I will come running! My foster mom says it's funny, because I'm not a huge fan of getting pets, but I just love that brush...it feels SO GOOD! Besides my brush, I also love treats and occasionally decide to get a little playful. I currently live with a special needs cat, and although I like having her around, I prefer to hang out by myself. Sometimes I'll chase her, but for the most part, I prefer to be a loner. I really need a cat-savvy owner, someone who isn't going to force me to be something I'm not. So, if you'll promise to let me be me, I'll let you be you, and we can live together peacefully. If that sounds like a good plan, ask the shelter how you can meet me in my foster home! Sincerely, TullyCat adoption fees are generally $109 (plus tax), unless otherwise noted, and dog adoption fees are $169 (plus tax), unless otherwise noted. Adoption fees include necessary vaccinations, a microchip, testing (FeLV/FIV for cats and heartworm test for dogs) and spaying/neutering of every animal that is adopted from our facility. If the animal is too young for sterilizing, the adopter is responsible to see that this is done. Once we receive confirmation that the adopted animal has been altered, a refund will be refunded ($75 for dogs and $40 for cats).
