Turtle is a momma cat who just found homes for all of her kittens, even though she is pretty young herself! Turtle is very vocal and enjoys having her ears scratched, and when she wants attention she will put her paw on your arm and meow. She doesn't have a problem with being held, having her ears or tail handled. She doesn't fancy being a lap cat, instead enjoys laying on the floor while you give her attention. When she has interacted with dogs and cats she doesn't appear to be bother by them. She is a very curious cat and wants to "check" things out for herself. She recently started playing with cat toys (cat teasers and little mice) and is learning to use a scratch post instead of furniture. She uses a litter box without any problems. At times she can be a bit timid when something new is being introduced such as a "Swiss exercise ball" upset her last night because it was something she had never seen. She hissed at the ball and began to cry but calm down after a min and further investigation. Loud sounds such as police sirens outside can upset her and she may hiss, growl, or cry to let you know something is wrong.
