Purr Master - Loving - Snuggle bunny Violet Beauregard is quite the opposite of her namesake - she is sweet, she is usually on her best behavior, and she doesn't chew gum annoyingly. She will come running for pets when you enter a room and purr loudly as soon as you touch her. She stays quiet unless she is sweetly requesting more attention. She spends most of her days playing with toys like crinkle toys, stuffed mice, and balled up paper, and running around with her foster siblings. She is lady in the litter box, and doesn't scratch furniture as long as she has something to scratch. She is great with her siblings, and not scared of the dogs in her foster home at all. Violet has a light orange tabby coat, amber eyes, and a pink nose. She loves her people, but she would do best in a home with another kitty to play with. Violet Beauregard is positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. She is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats - her foster siblings are also FeLV+ and available for adoption.
