Male. Born March 1st, 2008

Fearful: needs calm and patience In May of 2008, when Watson was a kitten, the Refuge rescued him from a crack house. He was terrified. For a long time, his foster family thought he was deaf. However, little by little, they discovered that he can in fact hear, but that he shows signs of autism (inability to communicate with the outside world in the same manner as other cats). He has spent a number of years living in his own little world because other living things frighten him so much. All the same, he has made progress. He has come to trust the other cats of the household, but hasn't yet learned to trust humans. He is trying to break free from the isolation he has been living in and is becoming more curious about his environment. There is hope. A calm adoptive family would do him a world of good.
