Willow is a one-year-old curious and lovable little girl who has learned some tough lessons in her short life. Willow was hit by a car and left to fend for herself, until some great volunteers stepped up to help her out. She was left with a broken pelvis , a deep cut on her back foot and her tail was so bad it had to be amputated, but none of these things have stopped her from learning to love! Willow is shy around newcomers, but quickly becomes a lapdog.
She is curious about the world around her and has recently learned how much fun it is to chew on things, especially all the new toys her foster mom has gotten her and maybe a few socks that get left behind.
Willow is new to living inside of the home, but she is potty training well even though there are still a few accidents. She's quickly getting the hang of her new routine! She does well with other dogs, but gets frightened easily by larger dogs particularly if they bark at her.
To be completely honest, we are unsure about what breed Willow may be, but we do know that she is simply adorable! Willow has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccinations, has been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. She is currently on monthly preventatives and is a happy, healthy pup looking for her second chance!
Willow will liven up any household with her fun, quirky personality. She is in a private foster home located in Eastern Kentucky, but out-of-state adoption including transportation is available.
