Willow is a super sweet, kind hearted 1 year old Poodle mix, most likely with Schnauzer. She was turned into the animal shelter most likely because of her failing vision. Her coat was long and well taken care of, so we feel that they family did take good care of her.
Poor dog was terrified at the shelter. She did nothing but cower in the back of her kennel. We had no idea that she had sight problems, but it would not have mattered. As soon as she was able to be taken from the shelter, she was home with us.
Willow has been a very easy foster. She is not an active dog, but has so much love in her heart. Wags her tail with joy whenever she is around her family. Always looking for love and attention. She has very little vision, but seems to be able to see some. Knows when there is an open door and definitely spots the cat when he is around. Doesn't seem to bump into walls, but our vet said that her pupils are unresponsive to light.
Her coat has been cut short, but it will continue to grow and need regular haircuts. She is non shedding.
A darling little dog with a beautiful spirit.
