Wyatt is a large sized (@ 55 lbs) Lab/Shep mix, @ 2 years old. He is a very nice dog, gets along great with other dogs. Wyatt will probably make an excellent family dog.
Foster Update 1: On our first day together Wyatt and I went on two walks and he does very well on the leash. So far he has liked every dog and person we met. He seems to understand some hand commands, sit and lay down. We are still working on come ;-) He seldom barks but does whine to let me know he is not happy in the crate. Eventually, he settles down and sleeps. He seems like a great, even tempered dog.
Foster Update 2: After one week I can say that this is a wonderful dog! Wyatt loves his walks and riding in the car. He is very quiet, only barking when he senses something important. He loves to lay around in the yard or on the deck, but is always game for silent squirrel stalking. He sleeps next to my bed at night, although I know he would prefer to sleep on it. Wyatt has not shown any interest in chewing. I do put him in the crate when I leave, but I honestly don't think he needs it, if you don't mind him on the couch (another favorite resting spot). Please come and meet him. I know you will be as impressed with him as I am.
