Arthur is a young guy who came from a life of neglect. After decompressing in his new home, Arthur is a sweet, loving mush with his people. It has been hard to truly assess him because he really doesn't have the patience for the other dogs in his current foster home (and there are many of them!), so some of his outbursts have been redirected toward his person. I truly believe that he would thrive as an only dog in a loving patient home. His ideal home will have someone that stays at home or works part-time.
I would like to see Arthur in a foster-to-adopt situation so we can see if he truly has behavioral issues or if his issues are just dog related. We are looking for an adopter in the northwest area of NJ so we can work with the foster/adopter to make sure this boy has found the right placement.
Arthur is an adorable 3-4 year old Shih Tzu mix who weighs only 8 pounds. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines. He walks very nicely on a leash - his ideal placement would be as the only dog in his new home and with children who are 12+ years old. He is a special boy and we are looking for a special adopter for him.
Arthur (aka Oliver in his video) is not with Eleventh Hour Rescue. If you'd like to meet this boy, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
