York, neutered male, 4 years old, 51 Lbs.
York was purposely abandoned by the family in a high kill shelter. From his record, we traced back this formal master adopted him from a public shelter at East District, intended to forbid bad record of adoption to abandon; they took York to a well known high kill shelter left to death. When we discovered York, there were wounds over his body, a deep cut under his right eye bleeding. He was seriously abused. Being just stay with him for a couple of hours, we discovered York was a very submissive and cuddling doggie. He was very sweet to everyone despite he was in great pain. After intensive medical treatment, the wounds were in great recovery but left a scarf under his right eye. With foster family’s love and care, York has gained his confident day after day. York is doing very well at foster home. He’s got a clean bill of hearth. He is very friendly and playful with doggie friends. He loves foster mom’s young child very much and watches over him from time to time. Perhaps the bad memory sometimes recalls him; Ken is scared of clubs and sticks. York was born with submissive nature. He likes to be around with dogs and children. And his favorite play ground is beach. He enjoys hopping into the water and running free on the soft sand; that does make his day! If you are looking for a royal and very submissive and gentle doggie friend, York would be the one you can count on.
