Zeus is about 3 years old. He was abandoned in an alleyway in Trenton. He still has evidence of his hard life on the streets with old scars and a permanent limp. Despite this, Zeus has not let his limp slow him down.
Zeus is a big 14 pound fur ball of love. He will head butt you asking for attention and will purr appreciatively with cheek scratches. He loves to take naps in the sun and look out the window while in his cat tree. He also loves his meals and will vocalize to remind you it is his feeding time.
Zeus has a great personality and would be a great addition to the right family. He is currently in a foster home and it is very evident that Zeus does not like dogs. However, he tolerates the four small low energy dogs in the house that would rather lie on the couch then bother him. So if your small dog is also a couch potato with no interest in chasing a cat, Zeus will tolerate your dog. Sorry, he still has issues with large dogs. With a proper and slow introduction, Zeus can be homed with non-territorial female cats, but NO other male cats. However, he should NOT be homed with any small children to avoid exacerbation of his limp. He is not attentive to his foster’s cockatiel birds so can be homed with small pet birds.
