This pretty little kitty is Zoe. While her parentage is definitely not pedigreed, she has some of the very rounded face and features typical of the Bombay breed. Everything about her is rounded and petite – it’s hard to believe this much cute is packed into one little beastie. Her fur is very shiny and sleek and almost seems to have a glow about it.
Zoe is also extremely smart and eager to communicate. She is definitely a kitty who knows people use their voices to talk, and she wants to try to talk, too. She’s not a constant talker, but she does vocalize to us regularly. “EEP!” You can almost see the frustration over the fact that we can’t understand what she says when she eeps and peeps and mews at us. We try, but we just don’t quite know. We suspect a lot of the time it is “Hey, pay attention to me!”
She is often a lap cat, and, occasionally, a butt cat. She likes to either sit behind me on my chair or on my lap while I work on the computer, and will sometimes try to play with my hands while I’m typing or writing.
Zoe has a big brother, Bertie, who I would love to see adopted with her (he has a profile here too, please check him out!). They do not have to be adopted together, but it would be wonderful to see them together in a home. She would definitely be lonely without another kitty to keep her company, though. Zoe gets along very well with most other kitties, especially if they are good-natured toward other cats. She tends to give what she gets – A grouchy, hissy kitty normally gets a response along the same lines, but a friendly, playful kitty will usually get friendliness and playfulness back from her.
