You don’t have to read a Boston Terrier’s mind. What they are thinking is written all over their face, nearly all of the time. Perhaps it has something to do with their broad heads, wide-set buggy eyes and short muzzles. Those exaggerated features sure do make for some expressive faces.

Here are 10 Boston Terriers telling us exactly what they think, without actually having to speak:

1. “Why the heck are you taking a picture of me post-poop? You are going to delete that immediately, friend.”

2. “Did you say treat? I could’ve sworn I heard the word treat. Give me a treat.”

3. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. What is this ‘beef jerky’ you speak of? Never heard of it…”

4. “So, are we just going to loaf around all day or what?”

5. “I am NOT pleased by this new puppy. Get him outta here. Now.”

6. “I MUST find out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.”

7. “What was that noise? You go first!”

8. “Ok, you’ve had your laughs. Can I take this ridiculous costume off now?”

9. “I told you I was sleeping in this morning. Keep the noise to a minimum, or it’s going to get ugly.”

10. “There’s nothing better than riding shotgun with my best friend.”

  • I’ve had two Wonderful Bostons and now I am wanting another one. First one died at 14 yrs., second one went with my granddaughter when she moved to her own place.
I’m so sad not to have a companion now. I’m a senior citizen and I need a constant friend that gives unconditional love.
