It seems like there is always an ongoing debate about whether allowing your pet to sleep in your bed is good for your own ZZZs-catching abilities, but what about when your animals are really sleeping in the bed, in a special built-in compartment?

Colchão Inteligente Postural, a Brazilian company, has designed a mattress that has its own sleeping area for your pet, right on the side of the bed.

The size of the little pet suite can be customized based on the size of your pet (although if you have an Irish Wolfhound, you might be setting yourself up for a real “Princess and the Pea”-style situation) and it has its own tiny pillowtop that can be removed for easy cleaning.

Filipe Machado Guterson, the company’s CEO, told ABC News that he came up with the idea for the pet-friendly mattress when a client wanted to sleep with her dog but, due to her pet’s own health problems, he couldn’t sleep directly on the bed. Guterson’s solution was to design what is essentially a built-in bunk bed for people and their pets.

If you hope to bring one of these mattresses into your own bedroom, you might have to drive to South America and pick it up yourself. Guterson said that Colchão Inteligente’s products are currently only available in Brazil and Argentina, but it hopes to expand to Orlando, Florida, and the United Arab Emirates by the end of the year.

Is it weird if we dream about this bed until then?
