Silken Windhound

The Silken Windhound is an intelligent sighthound with a strong prey drive. They were developed by Borzoi breeder, Francie Stull to be a medium sized, sporty sighthound and family-oriented companion. Gentle and devoted companions they crave affection and attention and do not do well left alone for long periods of time. They excel at coursing and make elegant and graceful running partners. Their people pleasing nature also makes them well suited for therapy work. Like many hound breeds, they should not be taken off leash in unconfined areas as their speed and drive make them curious and hard to catch.
