Sweepee Rambo is a unique dog who gets noticed. She is 4 pounds, hairless and blind. And all that helped her win a pageant.

The Chinese Crested/Chihuahua mix won the 2016 World’s Ugliest Dog Contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California. She has a big heart, according to her best friend, Jason Wurtz of Encino, California.

Wurtz wrote on Sweepee Rambo’s contest entry on the Sonoma-Marin Fair website that he loves her “baby soft freckled skin and legendary blond mohawk,” calls her a ride-or-die chick who wears doggy Depends, and loves the fact that Sweepee Rambo is loyal to him. Wurtz also wrote that Sweepee Rambo has accompanied him to work for the last 15 years.

Sweepee Rambo’s lolling tongue and the fact that she is hairless apparently contributed to her win, beating out 17 other dogs in the annual contest, which aims to celebrate all dogs by showing that no matter their imperfections, they are still lovable.

“Scoring was tough with so many uniquely qualified dogs,” Chief Judge Brian Sobel said in a news release. “But we’re confident that Sweepee will be a magnificent champion!”

Sweepee Rambo took second place to last year’s winner, Quasi Modo, a Pit Bull-Dutch Shepherd mix.

Quasi-Modo was born with missing vertebrae, which gives her a hunchback-like appearance. She beat out 26 other dogs to be crowned world’s ugliest in 2015.
