You love dogs. You wouldn’t be reading all these articles on DogChannel if you didn’t. Everyone needs a day or two (or three or four) where they can relax and aren’t obligated to anything. This could be the time to do that. You can spend an entire weekend watching dog show after dog show, courtesy of Nat Geo WILD. This dog-filled weekend, called BarkFest, starts Friday, May 15, 2015.
BarkFest will consist of “a weekend of all bark, no bite TV featuring some of the smartest, most unique and cutest canines in the world. There will be surfing dogs, service dogs… Cesar Millan marathons and much more,” according to the National Geographic website.
Part of Nat Geo WILD’s inaugural BarkFest weekend will be Dognition’s “Is Your Dog a Genius.” Obviously, all of our dogs are geniuses in one way or another (and if they’re not then it’s just because they’re too smart to show it, right?).
Three of BarkFest’s shows (“Talk Doggy to Me,” “Doggy See, Doggy Do” and “Who’s Your Doggy?” will feature Dognition games. See below for air times. Through these games, Dr. Brian Hare, a Duke University dog scientist helps pet parents understand their dogs better. Dr. Hare’s groundbreaking research allows your dog’s personality to shine through as well as help you unlock your dog’s true potential all by playing some at-home games. Who knows what your dog is capable of doing! Can’t wait for BarkFest? Play a Dognition game now.
