A groom-to-be from Michigan had a bachelor party in the Tennessee woods and came home with more than he left with a few days prior.

Mitchel Craddock and his friends had gone to do some four-wheeler off-roading in the woods of Tennessee to celebrate his upcoming wedding. While his party enjoyed some outside fun, it was the rescuing of a dog and her litter of pups that probably made the party even more memorable.

“The first morning we were there, we had the front door wide open and we’re cooking bacon and we look over the front door to the cabin we’re staying in, there is a dog sitting there, sweet as can be but would not come inside,” Craddock told NewsChannel 3.

“She was very dehydrated, hungry, I mean everything we gave her and out in front of her she gobbled up as fast as she could,” Craddock said.

Craddock and his friends took a liking to the dog and named her Annie, and thought that she would eventually leave and go home. But that didn’t happen.

Craddock told NewsChannel 3 Annie would leave the area of the cabin every once in a while and bark furiously in the distance, and that barking caused Craddock and his party to make an astonishing discovery as they followed her. Annie’s home was essentially a hole in the ground, and in that hole were puppies.

One of Craddock’s friends went down into the hole, head first, and slowly pulled out seven pups. They were all covered in dirt, Craddock said.

“Well, we’re washing our puppies, because they had all come out of a hole and they were all dirty, so there was a group of rough men going down to go four-wheeling, but instead they are inside washing puppies,” Craddock said.

Craddock’s bachelor party turned out a little differently than how most people would think a bachelor party would go, but it seems to have turned out way better than the groom-to-be and his friends could have imagined.

Knox, Bear, Daisy, Gunner, Brimmy, Finn and Rose were treated by a veterinarian and all of them, including Annie, have been adopted.
