For those of us waiting for the release of “Finding Dory,” the sequel to Disney’s 2003 blockbuster “Finding Nemo,” you’ll just have to wait until this summer. Disney has, though, released a new trailer of the film, and it is going to make you wish it was already June 17.

The trailer starts with the “school” fish going to see a sting ray migration, and this causes Dory, (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) to realize that she not only has a family, but that she misses them.

Together with Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and his dad, Marlin (Albert Brooks), the forgetful fish embarks on an excursion to find her loved ones.

They hook up with the surfin’ sea turtles, and climb aboard as they “surf” the East Australian Current. Dory then encounters a whale shark named Destiny (Kaitlin Olson), who reminds Dory that they were friends before.

Dory then somehow ends up in a touch tank at a sea animal park, where the creatures in the tank have to avoid the hands of children who are poking and prodding them. The trailer ends with Dory interacting with Hank the octopus (Ed O’Neill) in what looks like a lab setting. The octopus climbs in the sink and turns on the food waste disposer, with Dory saying, “Not Good.”

“Finding Nemo” made $936 million worldwide at the box office, according to Box Office Mojo. Will “Finding Dory” meet with success among moviegoers? If “Finding Nemo” is the benchmark, “Finding Dory” should do well.
