A little ginger kitten found on the street couldn’t move his rear legs. Once a vet hospital got a hold of him, however, he began to get around like wildfire.
That’s because the Massapequa Pet Vet equipped the tiny tabby cat with a wheelchair, according to its Facebook page. The kitten had come in with a Good Samaritan who found the very young cat on the streets, unable to walk.
Because the cat was so small, the wheels needed to aid the cat had to be small, too. According to the post, the wheelchair came from a toy.
“Some of our very dedicated technicians went digging through old toys they had and made him a make-shift wheelchair that allows him to finally run,” the Facebook post reads. “We love this little guy and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.”
Probably some serious mileage is to come.
