Clearly it takes quite a bit to impress Grumpy Cat. Case in point: Madame Tussauds San Francisco unveiled the long-awaited Grumpy Cat animatron on Tuesday, and Grumpy Cat didn’t so much as bat an eye – or ditch her trademark scowl.
Her disinterest was so obvious, in fact, that Madame Tussauds itself took note, Tweeting:

The first ever cat to be immortalized by Madame Tussauds; the Grumpy Cat animatronic serves as the first mechanical figure to be created by the museum, known for their celebrity wax figures, in over a decade, and will feature several movements – including the ability to open and close its eyes.
Constructed out of acrylic, fiber glass, and silicon; the robotic replica took four months to create, and is now set to tour the remaining five Madame Tussauds locations across the US – Hollywood, New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Washington D.C. No word on whether Grumpy will attend her additional animatronic doppelganger debuts; but if her reaction to yesterday’s event is any indication, we don’t think she’d be into it.
“I can’t believe this is happening,” said Grumpy Cat of her reveal [http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20151208006758/en/Grumpy-Cat-Stays-Grumpy-Unveiling-Madame-Tussauds]. “This is absolutely awful.”
