The National Football League’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign lets players sport custom cleats during games this week to support causes. Some are standing up to domestic violence, others are combating hunger and for one player, his pet cause is… a pet cause.

Dallas Cowboy’s running back Ezekiel Elliott will wear custom cleats bearing pictures of paw prints, dog bones, the words “Adopt, Volunteer, Prevent Cruelty” and a picture of his dog Ace, Fox Sports reports. He’ll lace them up Thursday in a game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Elliott is campaigning for shelter adoption and to put an end to animal cruelty. He’s previously encouraged rehoming dogs by sponsoring a $21 adopt-a-pet day in Texas last month.

Good luck against the Vikings, Zeke! A win on Thursday isn’t far away, and a win for the hearts of dog fans has already happened.
