Have you ever tried to take a selfie with your dog? While some come out super cute, others show your dog looking elsewhere or in some cases walking away. It can be difficult to keep them focused. Pooch Selfie, a device for smartphones, aims to change that. Created by Jason Hernandez of Clever Dog Products, the Pooch Selfie attaches to any device (smartphones and tablets) and holds a tennis ball on top. The idea is that your dog focuses on the tennis ball instead of at the cat running by or a noise he heard (or whatever else might be distracting him), giving you the ability to take a cute photo with him… and then post that cute photo on Instagram.

The Pooch Selfie is currently in the funding stage, with a campaign running on Kickstarter. So far a little over $4,500 of the $7,000 goal has been raised, with 20 days left to go of the campaign. Various rewards are offered for those who back the project.
