2. Provide a brief biography of your sire’s breeder(s) and background in the sport, if you are not the breeder.

3. Briefly describe the highlights of your sire’s show career.

4. What is significant about the breeding that produced him, his sire and dam or the dogs behind him?

Ch. Cambria’s Out For Justice

Doberman Pinscher
Owners: Cambria Kennel

DD1105 SIG 019

1. Jim and Ann White of Cambria Kennels have collectively been involved in Doberman show circles for 100-plus years. They met through Dobermans and together have pursued a breeding program, which started very late in both of their careers. Both are originally from Texas but have operated out of Indiana for the last decade, enjoying the central location from which to show dogs.

2. Currently Cambria is the breeder of Doberman males siring in excess of 400 AKC champions. Most notable is their top-producing sire of all-time Ch. Cambria’s Cactus Cash (sire of 167 AKC champions, 14 BIS winners and the sire, grandsire or great-grandsire of every No. 1 Doberman in the past 11 years). But Jim and Ann mostly value their bitch power. Their foundation bitch Ch. Florowill’s Bit of Magic remains the top-producing Doberman dam of all time with 22 AKC champions.

3. Although we do handle Dobermans professionally, we do not campaign (beyond finishing their championship) our own dogs; particularly stud dogs. ‘Nick’ was shown only to his championship.

4. Nick is sired by our top-producing Ch. Cambria’s Cactus Cash ‘Eddie.’ Eddie is the grandson of former top producer Ch. Brunswig’s Cryptonite. Nick’s dam, Ch. Cambria’s Barrettina, is an Eddie grand-daughter. We base our breeding program on linebreeding and believe that producers produce producers.

5. Nick has produced best when linebred. He has sired a No. 1 Doberman, multi-BIS winners, two National Specialty Grand Prize Futurity winners and more than 50 AKC champions. He typically produces smooth, sound, balanced, typey offspring.

GCh. Oakwood V Kaitlers Tribute BN, RE, CAA, CGC

German Pinscher
Owners: Jill Eastman and Ryanne Gorland

SireGerPinsch

1. I have been showing and breeding German Pinschers since 2005 under the kennel name Daveren, and have produced more than two dozen champions. I have bred the No. 1 German Pinschers in the US for the last three years, as well as many Group-winning and -placing GPs, a National Specialty BOB winner, and multiple Westminster and Eukanuba breed winners.

2. ‘Parker’ was the result of a co-breeding between Australian breeder Michele Beyer and American breeder Kimberle Schiff. The litter was born in the US. The litter produced four champions, a National Specialty winner, two Westminster and Eukanuba Breed winners, a No. 1-ranked Group-winning dog and also a Group-placing dog.

3. Parker is a Group-placing German Pinscher, was top-ranked when he was shown and won BOB at Eukanuba.

4. Parker is a result of a linebreeding of two dogs that were imported from Australia and mated here in the US.

5. Parker is known for producing sound temperaments and nice movement in his offspring.

GCh. Claircreek Impression De Matisse RN

Portuguese Water Dog
Owners: Milan Lint, Peggy Helming and Donna Gottdenker

SirePWD

1. & 2. I, Donna, am a breeder/owner-handler and have been in the sport for 18 years. In that time, I have focused my attention on trying to improve and preserve our beloved Portuguese Water Dog. The culmination of this is Claircreek Impression De Matisse. I enjoy showing my own puppies as long as I can and then sharing them with a handler. I have had a PWD in the top three in Canada for most of those 18 years. All of my own 13 Canadian champions are also American champions, six of which are American Grand Champions. Several of them are also Portuguese, Gibraltar, Finnish and Swedish Champions and have produced pups that are very successful around the world.

3. Thanks to co-owner Milan Lint, ‘Matisse’ achieved 238 Best in Shows in his two-year career, sometimes winning back-to-back-to-back Best in Shows.

4. Matisse’s dam is Claircreek Femme Fatale, who was a Group 1 winner at the 2007 World Dog Show and also holds a number of other titles, including Canadian/American champion. She was a very special and typey bitch who needed a special mate. When it came to breeding her, I decided to use another line that I had always admired and felt would fit well with mine. Pouch Cove Caribe was the choice for breeding to ‘Apolina,’ and this breeding produced Matisse and other littermates that have produced many wonderful puppies.

5. Matisse’s balance, coat, head, substance and temperament have certainly carried through to his get. These dogs are easy to pick out of a lineup and have been winners at specialties and shows across the US and Canada.

GCh. Bralin’s Jack Be Nimble, SD

Siberian Husky
Owners: Sheri L. Wright and Douglas Jones

SireSibHusky

1. & 2. Sheri Wright founded Bralin Siberians in 1985 and has finished dozens of champions owner-handled, winning specialties, Groups, National Specialty awards and sled dog degrees. Sheri is an approved AKC judge for Siberians; her husband, Doug Jones, once a superintendent for MB-F, Inc., is now actively competing in Sled Dog competitions.

3. ‘Jack’ was shown on a limited basis at select specialty shows, National Specialties and a few local shows.

4. The breeding that produced Jack is a combination of lines we have been developing over the years, bred to a top-producing sire.

5. He has consistently produced excellent balance, movement and type, bred to bitches from both similar and different lines. His record of producing excellent health and sound temperaments is outstanding. He has produced many specialty winners, Best in Show winners and the very special No. 1 Siberian in Canada for 2015. We’re very proud of his get and that two of them won awards at Westminster 2016.
