Purina Recalls Varieties Of Its Wet Dog Food

The recall is limited to Purina’s 10-ounce tubs of Beneful Prepared Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends and Pro Plan Savory Meals.

Purina has issued a recall of select 10-ounce tubs of its Pro Plan Savory Meals, Beneful Prepared Meals and Beneful Chopped Blends wet dog food. The recall was issued after Purina conducted internal quality testing and discovered that some of the 10-ounce tubs of wet dog food “may not contain the recommended level of added vitamins and minerals.”

These products were distributed in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

To find out if you have one of the recalled products, check the “Best Before” date and the production code found on the bottom of the 10-ounce tub. If you have the recalled product, discontinue feeding it to your dog and discard it. Contact Purina at 800-877-7919 for a refund.
