This is the story of a pig named Piper.

Piper might look like she jumped right off the pages of a children’s book, but alas, Piper is very real. Her owners document her adventures on Instagram, alongside her pig family of five.

Piper loves playing, napping and snacking, but she appears to have taken a special liking to the puppy who lives next door. The two have become super tight besties.

Piper and her pup-buddy/neighbor are about the same size (for now — mini pigs actually grow to be quite large), and they look so, so sweet when napping side by side. It’s all spots, smushed faces and tiny feet.

But despite her young age, Piper is a seasoned ham (see what we did there?) when it comes to posing for the camera. Here are Piper’s hammiest moments to date:

1. When she first became a member of this adorbs piggy family.

This was the day Piper’s squad goals were achieved.

2. When she sported her pig sweater.

She sounds like a gremlin and acts like a snuggly baby.

3. When she had the cutest milk mustache that ever was.

Why hasn’t anyone given Piper her own “Got Milk?” ad?

4. When she became friends with a bearded dragon.

Bearded dragons are so in right now. Because it’s all about the beard.

5. When she went adorably crazy on her favorite toy.

It’s a toy, a rug, a blanket, and a dear companion.

6. When she showed off her little piggy feet.

Those might be the tiniest hooves ever.

7. When she gained 20,000 new followers.

Piper loves her new fame, just so you know.
