Ooh room service. That super-indulgent thing you always want to get but rarely splurge on for yourself… or your dog. But Serena Williams did and then she ate it and then warned the world about it via SnapChat.
The warning message, posted to YouTube by Alysha Tsuji, details Williams’ beef with the dog food. She stews for almost four minutes, but her message boils down to one basic take-away.
“I don’t think it’s consumable for humans and they shoulda wrote that,” Williams says.
Why would they need to? Because she thought (and we agree) that the dog menu looked and sounded delicious.
Williams ordered chicken with beef and vegetables for Chip, her tiny Yorkshire Terrier, the first night of her stay. She saw “fresh greens,” “boiled chicken” and beef “seared to perfection.”
Yeah, actually, that sounds really good. So we understand why the next night, Williams ordered the salmon with rice and decided to give it a shot.
“I ate a spoonful. Don’t judge me! I ate a spoonful!” Williams confesses to the camera.
The results were disappointing. Not only did the food taste a little like cleaning product, it kicked off a — how should we put this — rally in her intestines.
