I wanted to say thank you to all the people out there who have read my entries over the past couple of months. It’s been a lot of fun to write these articles and an experience that doesn’t come around too often. It’s also reinforced how much I’ve learned about lovebirds over the past couple of years and how much my birds mean to me. I hope that I’ve been able to share some meaningful insights with you as well.
Please consider going to a bird show. You will make a lot of friends, and it will be an experience that you will never forget – one you will always cherish. It will be a time when you gave it your all and contributed something very meaningful to the world of aviculture and to lovebirds. The world of lovebirds and exhibiting needs your support and your participation.
On a last note, I’ve attached two pictures of my black-cheeked babies, Kahlua and Bailey. They are not really babies anymore, even though I still like to call them that. I had them sexed, and Kahlua and Bailey turned out to both be hens. I’m going to make sure that Kahlua and Bailey end up with good mates. This won’t be the last you hear of them and their offspring!
