Dog owners dressed their pets in hippie attire and took them to a park in Macon, GA., to spend a day frolicking while raising money for animal adoption agencies. The Woofstock Festival on Sunday was sponsored by the FURever Friends Humane Society of Jones County. Six other midstate animal shelters also passed out doggie treats and distributed literature, The Associated Press reports.
