Studio A has released a short film called “The BiRDMAN?about a man named Sekar, who lives in Chennai, India and feeds around 4,000 wild parrots twice a day.
The filmmakers write in the video description:
“In this fast moving world, we find space for cold coffees, bling cars, blockbuster movies, end of the season sale, crazy selfies and more. But do we find space for KINDNESS? ?mpatience?being the new lifestyle, the rhythm of humanity is missing the beat of kindness, as it is busy catching up with the next second. But somehow, as all matters of heart, love does find its space through all the situations. Such one inspiring story of Love and Kindness is “THE BiRDMAN? a documentary of a person named Sekar, living in Chennai in the small yet crowded street of Royapettah. There is something that makes him large, magnificent and most importantly, humane. How a random act of kindness can bring so much life and so much change to this world, stands vivid in his act. Apart from being a simple Camera mechanic winning his bread by his hand skills, what he has been doing for the past 10 years will stun you, just the way it stunned us. Take a look!”
Watching the video, you learn how Sekar started feeding the parrots and what motivates him. (He spends 40 percent of his budget to feed them too!) It? a very heartwarming video, and I think we can all agree that kindness is the best medicine, for humans and parrots alike.
