Christmas is just days away and some of us (OK, so I mean me) still have one more person to buy for. We may even have a dog or two to buy for (mine have more fun playing with the wrapping paper and boxes than any gift I’ve given them). As you think about what to get your dogs this year, have you ever wondered how other people include their canine companions in their holidays?

TheNosePrint.com, an online pet source from Big Heart Pet Brands, the company that makes Milk-Bone and Pup-Peroni, conducted the Santa Dog Index. This survey polled 3,000 Americans about their dog-related holiday habits, including how much they spend on gifts for dogs, their reasoning for spending money on gifts for dogs and how they include their dogs in Christmas traditions.
