If you have a Greyhound, then you know they easily get cold. When the weather gets chilly, they benefit from being all bundled up in a sweater, snood or hat. When the Greyhound resides in a rescue, however, he doesn’t always get that luxury. Jan Brown decided to help out her local Greyhound rescue in England by knitting hats and coats for the dogs in need. She began selling them and donating a portion of the funds to benefit Greyhounds, Mashable reports.
They were so cute that Brown, known as Knitty Jan in knitting circles, started receiving more and more orders for the doggy apparel. A website, Facebook page and hundreds of knitted hats and coats later, Brown has quit her job to focus on this project full time.
